    About Dr. Supreme

I am a National Certified Counselor, a Licensed Professional Counselor in Washington, DC and a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in the state of Maryland.

I have nearly 20 years of counseling experience treating adolescents and teenagers dealing with school issues, behaviors problems, depression, anxiety, social skills, self-identity and low self-esteem.

I have 10 years of experience in providing counseling to college students dealing with college issues, career choices, transition to adulthood, anxiety, depression, and concerns relating to their future.

I enjoy working with young adults that are struggling with major life transitions and may be exhibiting failure to launch syndrome. I also work with individuals that may be having a difficult time dealing with grief/loss or need someone to listen to their story in a nonjudgemental way.

I take an integrative approach to therapy to honor the uniqueness of the client. I believe in being practical and showing compassion. Above all, I am committed to providing a warm, safe and nurturing environment.

    Inspirational Quotes

“Perfectionism is a self destructive and addictive belief system that fuels this primary thought: If I look perfect, and do everything perfectly, I can avoid or minimise the painful feelings of shame, judgment, and blame.”

    Brené Brown

“Somehow we’ve come to equate success with not needing anyone. Many of us are willing to extend a helping hand, but we’re very reluctant to reach out for help when we need it ourselves. It’s as if we’ve divided the world into “those who offer help” and “those who need help.” The truth is that we are both.”

    Brené Brown

“Vulnerability is not winning or losing; it’s having the courage to show up and be seen when we have no control over the outcome.”

    Brené Brown
